How To Use This Search Engine
___________________
To use the search engine, you simply type your search terms and select the Search buttom or press the ENTER key.
Your search terms can be the name of your favorite artist, the name of an album, or the name of a piece or song you want to find.
When you click on the Search button or press the ENTER key on your keyboard, a new window will appear with the results of your search. Normally there will be many results, so try to figure out which of them are closer to what you are looking for, and select them one by one.
When you select a search result, it will open (in the same or in a new window/tab, depending on your browser configuration) a window with your piece/album/entire discography ready for download. See the directions for downloading from DDL or Rapidshare-alike sites.
Remember that you can use (see "How this Search Engine Functions") all the power of Google!
Using Rapidshare-alike Sites
___________________
It is very simple to download you music from this services.
There are many on-line file-storage (or file-hosting) services, being the most popular Rapidshare, Depositfiles, and Megaupload. All of them are similar, the ones make you wait (unless you paid for their service) while the others have you to introduce a "captcha" (some letters and/or numbers), or both, and then voilá, there's your file.
All of this services have a free and a payed forms of download. You can use the free service with some limitations, like waiting between downloads, or paid an amount per month/year and download without any limitation, but in both cases, each download is a free one.
In almost all cases, what you download is an entire music-album that is in compressed format. See "How To Use File Decompressors" to manage this files.
Also, if in doubt, check the section on how to download a file from internet.
Using DDL sites
___________________
In many DDL (Direct DownLoad) sites, the only thing you have to do type a "captcha" - some digits and/or letters - and click the download buttom, while in many others simply click the download buttom.
There are also cases where you must right-click the name of the piece/album and select to download the linked material from the context menu.
In almost all the DDL sites what you download is a piece, versus the file-sharing services in which what you download is almost everytime an entire album.
If in doubt, check the section "How To Use Internet To Download".
How To Decompress A Downloaded File
___________________
In many cases when you download from internet, what you get is a compressed file, which normally are in Rar or Zip format (with the extension set accordingly).
Rarely but sometimes are other formats, in any case, what you need is one of two (or both if you like) programs: Winzip (for Zip and other formats) or Winrar (for both, zip and rar formats - and many more -), which you can download for free at www.download.com.
Once installed, right-click the compressed file in windows explorer (no matter the extension), and from the context-menu select the appropriate option. Normally you will want an album in it's own directory and a single piece in the same place as the original, compressed file.
Once decompressed, the compressed file is not needed any more, so you can delete it freely.
How To Download A File From Internet
___________________
To download a file from internet follow the next steps:
To download a file through a website, first click on the link for the file you wish to download, in some cases the website may automatically start the download process after waiting a few seconds.
Next, the browser should prompt you on what to do with the file. Unless you immediately wish to listen to the music (option = open the file), it is recommended you select the option to save the file and place the file somewhere you're going to remember. If your browser doesn't prompt you, it means it is configured for downloading everything to the same place, usually the desktop, so check your browser configuration if in that case.
After the download, if the file is compressed it will require another program be run to extract the file's content. See the section on how to decompress a file in this site.
How This Search Engine Functions
___________________
This is a Google Custom Search Engine which looks for music in many carefully-selected music sites over the internet.
Only sites in which you can either direct-download your music or that use a filesharing service like Rapidshare, Megaupload or Depositfiles, are searched.
For your convenience, only sites which do not demand registration are in the search engine, so you can be sure that what you find, you can begin to download it - almost - instantly.
Note that with this Search Engine you can find either free or copywrited material, so be sure you don't infringe any law!
Also, because
is Google-based, you can use in your search the operators
OR (Like in 'Madonna OR Madona'), - (for excluding some word(s)), and
~ (for synonymous).

Two other ways for finding and downloading music are:
P2P (Peer to Peer or Point to Point) programs, like Frostwire, iMesh, Emule, Ares or Shareaza
BitTorrent Files, with a bit-torrent client like µtorrent or Shareaza.
*** Beware, this might be dangerous for your computer ***
All programs mentioned here are free of charge. See the software section in this site.
This type of programs, particularly p2p, dislike the majority of ISPs (Internet Service Providers) because they use too much bandwidth, so if you use them do it with this in mind. See the section on music-download-info in this site.
Also, this programs tend to slow down your system, besides that they are virus-prone, so use it with careful and with a good antivirus installed.
